This is an exciting opportunity to experience working within the Framework 7 pan-European research network for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAMbrella).

You will be designing and conducting systematic reviews of European epidemiological studies of complementary and alternative medicine use.  In addition, you will be supporting Professor Lewith in his role as one of the three project leaders and liaising with the other members of the CAMbrella project.  The post-holder will be required to attend some international meetings (within Europe).

Ideally you will have a PhD in a health related topic. Experience of both qualitative and quantitative methods is essential. An interest in CAM and knowledge of systematic review techniques for both qualitative and quantitative literature would be beneficial.

You will be based at Primary Medical Care, University of Southampton (Aldermoor Health Centre).

This post is fixed term for a period of 18 months and part time (21 hours per week).  A satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau disclosure at standard level is required for this post.
