Warwick Medical School (WMS) wishes to appoint a Professor in Medical Statistics. As a key member of the expanding Medical Statistics group you will work closely with Nigel Stallard, Professor of Medical Statistics, and others in the medical school to develop a strong programme of personal research in medical statistics. You will also contribute to research across Warwick Medical School through participation in inter-disciplinary research teams. As part of the Warwick hub of the West Midlands Research Design Service, you will give statistical advice to local NHS researchers and oversee more junior advisors. You will also contribute to teaching on the MBChB and Masters programmes of the school and supervise PhD students.
You will have an international profile and a strong publication record in medical statistics, a clear vision of the direction of your research and how it integrates with existing work in Warwick, and the leadership qualities required to build and sustain a competitive research programme.
