Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Lecturer in Academic Neuroradiology.
The role of the Lecturer will be to carry out teaching and research in neuroradiology, whilst undergoing a combined academic and clinical training leading towards a career in neuroradiology. Candidates should have a proven commitment to research and teaching and have completed, or have submitted, a PhD/MD or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with a research interest in MRI neuroradiology, although those with other research interests will be considered. The person appointed will be allocated a National Training Number (NTN). Clinical training will be provided within a range of placements approved for Specialty Training in preparation for the award of the Certificate of Completed Training (CCT) in Radiology. Candidates must be fully registered medical practitioners with MRCP or equivalent. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a maximum period of four years, or until the award of a CCT.
Salary for this post will be within the range £30,685 - £53,132 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidates will undertake 50% of WTE academic work within the Academic Division of Radiology. It is a condition of these posts that satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
